I’m sure you have all heard about the law of attraction and the unlimited power we all have to attract good things into our lives. The theory is great; therefore the logical question is why is it not working for me? The answer is as simple as the law of attraction itself: we attract what we are and that is exactly the problem. We need to transform ourselves into what we want to be in order to attract everything we want and deserve in this life.

A brief introduction on the law of attraction
The LAO and manifesting your dream life are huge topics in today’s world. It is a consistent theme in one of the best-selling books of all time, Think and grow rich, by Napoleon Hill and gained mainstream traction in 2006 thanks to the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Side note if you are interested in the topic I also recommend you to read Ask and it is Given by Ester Hicks and The power of intention by Wayne Dyer.
It is a universal law, which states that like attracts like. And since everything on our planet, including ourselves, is energy and has its own constant vibration, we are all attracting back to us our own energy and vibration. Basically, we are attracting who we are being.
A common line among people who practice law of attraction is that you attract who you are. But…do you really know who you are? By coming from a place of being and reprogramming your subconscious you can begin to attract the goodness, success, wealth, joy, and anything else you desire into your life.
What is the Law of attraction?
As a concept it has been around for thousands of years. Its basic premise is that our lives are our own creation. That is, that we have the power to create our realities.
I still can recall an experience in 6th grade, in which I won the ultimate library prize: Three Harry Potter Books, the Moby Dick VHS, and a $50-dollar gift card to Barnes and noble. Back in those days, I devoured every book and was excited at the prospect of having more material to add to my personal library.
Ever since the announcement of this prize, I visualized in my 10-year-old mind, winning the prize. I relived the moment all week long in my mind, taking into account how happy I would feel if I won that prize. Friday afternoon came around, and to my delight I won the prize. I felt the exact same way I had imagined in my mind the previous week: ecstatic, proud, and actualized. I was smiling back at my classmates, just as I had envisioned the previous week.
Have you ever experienced the manifestation of something that you had already imagined? Perhaps, you randomly thought of a friend who you haven’t heard from in a long time, and then later that day they message you. Or perhaps you’re having an issue and someone recommends you a book that helps you to resolve the problem.
If the answer to any of those questions is yes that, my dear kazieners, was the Law of Attraction at work. It is not just some baseless law and it is always working. In fact, it is starting to build more steam in the scientific community as well.
Actual Science behind the law of attraction:
The LAO is actually based on scientific principles referring to quantum physics supporting the belief that whatever you put out into the world, you will attract back to yourself. In fact, recent scientific studies have discovered “mirror neurons.” Peter Thier, PhD, at Tübingen University first identified mirror neurons and as he furthered his finsings worked closely with Antonio Casile and Vittorio Caggiano in the lab of Giacomo Rizzolatti, MD, at the University of Parma.
These Neuroscientists discovered that certain groups of neurons in macaque monkeys fired both when a monkey did a particular action and when the monkey watched someone else perform the same action. The neurons even fired when the monkey heard the action in the other room.
What does that mean? Basically, when we observe someone doing something, our brains mimic the same brain activity as the person who is actually doing the action. For example, if you observe Serena Williams making a killer serve in tennis, your brain mirrors back the same pattern of brain activation that allows Serena to make her serve.
Why do so many people love going to sporting events or watching them on TV? When we watch a gymnast perform amazing acrobatics we admire her agility and skill. AND our brain is actually simulating and mirroring back as if we were the actual performer. We even begin to feel like a gymnast. We may even be envisioning ourself as one.
That takes me back to myself in sixth grade. I envisioned, believed, and felt that I was going to win the prize. And consequently, I did. I was using the law of attraction without even knowing it at the time.
So, when Walt Disney said, “If you can dream it, you can do it,” he wasn’t giving us some pointless quote, he was saying, you can create the life that you want. And you can do this through the law of attraction.
Way of being and the Law of Attraction
If you are thinking why is not working for me? why am I not attracting all the success I want?…you have come to the right place once again!
Who we are comes down to our identity, and identity comes down to our way of being. Many successful individuals such as Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Oprah, and so many others say that a quick hack to becoming successful is to start surrounding ourselves with successful, positive people. Why? Because our brains will mirror what they are doing. We begin to shift our way of being and start becoming a person who embodies positive habits that result in success. It is yet another instance of the Law of Attraction at work.
If we want to attract more of what we want into our lives we have to transform our subconscious and way of being so that it is reflected back to us. When we truly know who we are at the core and start being that person, then we can attract what we desire into or lives. This is why we believe so deeply in the importance of subconscious transformation through a kaizen methodology. Only when we achieve the best version of ourselves, will we be able to attract what we want to attract. I’m sorry but it does not work the other way round kaizeners!!!
Energy is contagious.
You know how people say laughter is contagious? Well that’s because it actually is. Both Energy and emotions are. Haven’t we all experienced being around a Debbie downer who is so negative that he or she subsequently puts you into a bad mood? Or at the very least, takes your happiness level down a notch? Or on the contrary, have you been around someone who is just so lovely that they help and brighten your mood?
Energy is transferable and science has proved that. Our bodies are always absorbing whatever is happening in the environment around us. So, you can actually catch feelings and catch vibes. And going back to mirror neurons, when someone is radiating happiness, this same response is mirrored back in the brain of the observer. This can attract happiness into your life.
This is so important for the law of attraction. Because we are always actually attracting what we are. By transforming our subconscious, we can attract in life that which we desire. The life that is better, does better, and is more expansive.
Attract what you want through being
The law of attraction does attract things to us through our thoughts, beliefs, and intentions. If we want to start attracting what we truly want in our lives we need to make small subconscious shifts on a daily basis to shift our way of being.
Don’t go out into the world and look for dreams. Instead, focus your attention on becoming the person or becoming the being who you really want to be, and your dreams will find you….Trust me on this one and read it again and again and again!!
There are always things that we can improve upon, especially inside of ourselves. But, the majority of people let time slip by and repeat their same comfortable habits. The result is that we attract the exact same things, experiences, and patterns into our lives. We cannot simply just think or hope to change. That is not how the Law of Attraction works. To start attracting what we really desire into our lives we must make small shifts in the way we are being on a daily basis.
We all desire many things in life. It is part of our human nature. We wish to have this or that. And then we complain about what we don’t have (a nice house, a lovely partner, money, vacation, a great job, free time, etc.). We say we want all those things, never fully realizing that it starts with ourselves.
So, stop doing things to try to attract things into your life and take a look in the mirror. Everything starts with you. Work on yourself and who you want to be. You can do this by making daily shifts in your subconscious mind. Be the person of your dreams by making small improvements each day. Like attracts like. When you work on who you want to be, I can guarantee that the things you have desired for so long will start making their way towards you.
